All products within the Plastic Omnium range can be personalised to identify the local authority or company name, or be used as a communication tool and include information such as sorting instructions.
Personalisation of waste containment products can be made in a variety of methods:
Self-Adhesive Labels (Stickers)
Picture of any shape/image/logo etc can be placed onto a self-adhesive label resistant to UV rays and removal. This option is more suited to smaller orders or when there is an implementation and stickers can be applied as the containers are being delivered. Stickers are generally applied to the base but can also be applied to the lid, providing they are fitted in the polished area at the front.

Embossing
Permanent relief marking (no colour) directly onto the product during injection moulding (only available for mass production runs). This can incorporate braille.
Hot Foil Stamping
An engraved coloured image onto the product and is by far the most common form of customisation for all wheeled containers, due to the speed with which it can be completed. An engraved brass plate, with the design required engraved into the surface, is heated and depressed through a coloured foil into the surface of the container, causing a depression. The foil is melted into the markings made by the plate.
Specific numbering
Special numbering to order, engraved into products. No colour is added. This does not have to be done in isolation, but can be incorporated with most personalisation types.
Photo-injection (mould labelling)
Allows lids of wheeled bins to incorporate a photographic image within the surface layers of
the plastic itself. The advantage of this technology is that it gives the user a permanent, quality message (e.g. which waste streams may or may not be acceptable for placing inside the container) as well as providing optimal adherence. It is tamper resistant, long lasting, and will withstand UV light and the elements.
*New* the clip-com® looks like photo-injection, but it is semi-permanent, so the message can be changed whenever required. Click here for more details.
