The clinical waste container, or GRV, comprises the following models:

660, 770,1000 and 1100 litre sizes.

 

This range of wheeled container has been designed for the collection of healthcare waste

within the context of a European agreement on the international transport of dangerous material by road.

These containers have a sealed body with no drain plug, thus avoiding any dangerous leakage and are fitted with a lid locking mechanism.  They also bear the markings required by law (approved logo and inspection office certification number).

Manufactured from HDPE, resistant to common chemicals and extremes of temperature; is both impact resistant and UV stabilised.  Security is provided via locking the lid with a standard triangular key.  A certification number is hot foil stamped on the rear of each container body and statutory sticker on the front of each container.  In order to maintain hygiene, the container has smooth internal and external surfaces, coupled with rounded corners for easy cleaning and removal of clinical waste. 

Colours available – Yellow body and lid.

Quality – Packaging class 6-2 (infectious materials) approval certificates issued by the Technical Control Office (French BVT).  Certified by the National Testing Laboratory (French LNE) as meeting European standards EN 840-2, EN 840-5 and EN 840-6. Manufactured according to an ISO 9001 quality control system.
